Philly street rapper Quilly (formerly known as Quilly Millz) drops a new banger titled “Letter to Haines Street” from his recently released mixtape “Haines Street Hustler Six.” On most of Quilly’s projects, he usually makes a song strictly for his neighborhood and the people he grew up with. “Letter to Haines Street” is that song on his latest mixtape – a real and heartfelt ode to the place that shaped him into the artist he is today.
Genre-bending Vibe is rapidly becoming the face of “Festival” music by combining live instrumentation with hip-hop, soul and pop. Kansas City bred, hip-hop buzz maker Suspect dropped his newest video “Stand Still,” the third video release off his EP #TheSoulFoodTrilogy. The video is also the first segment from The Grow Up movie, a feature length film that follows Suspect as he navigates through the gray areas of legal marijuana in California.
Kansas City emcee PHENOM! drops his new single, “Dumb Ass Kids” which has already made its way onto the top 20 of DJBooth’s and Audiomack’s indie charts. Produced by The Audible Doctor, the track is reminiscent of his adolescent years in the crime-ridden streets of his hometown.
