With the release of David Ayer’s FURY just days away, our team at Get Frush wanted to take the time to salute the often unrecognized women who played a key role in World War II. While our men were off at war fighting with our Allies against the Germans, many women, specifically African-American women were left behind to do the work here. Not only did they they take care of their homes, but they also worked as riveters, nurses and welders, just to name a few.
It is our distinct pleasure to feature these unsung heroes who not only supported our troops, but held it down right here at home. Take a look at these ferocious females and be sure to check out FURY in theaters this Friday, October 17th.
